Marie Smith CRDH, AS, graduated from Sanford Brown College, and is an active member of the ADHA. She achieved her Associate in Science Degree for Dental Hygiene in 2016 and states it was the best career choice she ever made.  Marie has made it her personal mission to make sure each of her patients have a pleasant dental experience.  Marie finds joy interacting with her patients and making a difference in their lives. She also prides herself in ethics and doing what's right.  Aside from her career Marie enjoys volunteering,  traveling, time outdoors soaking up the sun, and spending time doting on her nephews.

Karah Mosteller, CRDH, AS, has been a dental hygienist for 2 years. She graduated in 2019 from Florida State College at Jacksonville and is currently finishing up her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from St. Petersburg College. She is also pursuing a career as a dentist and was just recently married on May 29th 2021. It is Karah’s passion to change her patients fear of the dentist into a love for it. She believes you can do this by a compassionate approach and thorough patient education. Loving her patients well and giving them quality, ethical care is what’s most important to her. Karah is an active member at her church,Paramount Church, and serves as the scheduling coordinator and in childcare. She currently lives in Nocatee and enjoys kayaking, fishing, playing the drums, oil painting, cooking, and anything outdoors (especially on the water)!

Monica M. Franklin, DHSc, CDA, CRDH, serves as an Instructional Program Manager at Florida State College at Jacksonville. She has been employed at the College for the past 13 years. She has served as a full-time Professor of Dental Hygiene for 7 years prior to transitioning into her current administrative role. Prior to beginning her career in higher education, Monica practiced dental hygiene clinically for approximately 10 years. She continues to participate in community service events such serving as the Dental Hygiene Manager for the Florida Mission of Mercy. Monica received her Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Florida Community College at Jacksonville in 2000 and her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St. Petersburg College. She earned a Master of Health Science with a concentration in Higher Education and her doctoral degree in Health Science with a concentration in Global Health both from Nova Southeastern University.  Monica is excited to serve as the Vice President of NEFDHA.

Shannon Frey CRDH, AS, graduated in 2016 from Sanford Brown College and is an active member of the ADHA. She received her Dental Assisting Expanded Functions Certificate in 2005 and knew dentistry would always be her career path. She plans on continuing with her education and intends on obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is currently a clinician and has worked in private and corporate practices, as well as for a periodontal specialist. On her downtime, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, kickboxing, and music festivals.

Jacob Stromatt, CRDH, AS, graduated from FSCJ and enjoys the technical and scientific aspects of dental health. There's nothing better than a good research study! He also enjoys board games, video games, and kayaking.

Ravon Smith, CRDH, AS is well known for her vivacious smile. She has been working as a clinical hygienist for over 6 years. Her continuous passion and enthusiasm to motivate patients is seen through individualized patient care. She is a highly regarded and trusted due to her patient education, time spent and thorough but gentle touch.  Before dentistry, she was employed in the Management and Quality Assurance fields for many years. She previously studied Social Work serving as Vice President of the Bluffton College Social Work Club. Ravon is the Founder of His Love 29:11 Ministries which targets the homeless community of Jacksonville Florida. She is also the proud owner of So Smitten Catering. Ravon is excited to be involved with the association and ready to see the bright changes and future coming to the dental hygiene field.

Cindy Wampler, CRDH, MS, has been a licensed dental hygienist for 46 years. She retired in May of 2022 following a 21 year career as a professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Cindy remains an active member of ADHA. Her current roles are Trustee for Northeast Florida and ADHA delegate. She is also active on the Council on Membership and Council on Governmental Affairs. She has been very active in moving our profession forward with her advocacy for improved access to care for all Floridians and mentoring others to do the same. She looks forward to continuing to serve dental hygienists in the Northeast district of Florida.
