Cindy Franco is the Tobacco Trainer for Northeast Florida AHEC as well as a Tobacco Treatment Specialist facilitating Tobacco Cessation Groups.  She has been with the organization since 2012 as a Facilitator and has been the Tobacco Trainer since 2019 educating Healthcare Professionals and students on topics related to tobacco use.

Cindy recently retired from a rewarding career as a Respiratory Therapist.  She enjoys the opportunity to use that experience and knowledge in the role of Trainer and Facilitator.  Her work with Northeast Florida AHEC has given her a new avenue to help individuals in their struggles with tobacco use and aid Healthcare Professionals in this work as well.

NEFDHA’S Community Service Project

City Rescue Mission’s Annual Shoeboxes of Love project is for individuals or groups looking to make a difference in the lives of the homeless this Christmas Season. People come to CRM with little to nothing, so these shoeboxes are just a small way we can provide help to those in need. Please bring an item from the" Shoe Boxes of Love" list to our CE event as we hope to help some families in need this Christmas.
