Cammie Davidson, RDH, BS, MEd

Cammie graduated with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Florida Junior College (now FSCJ) in 1985, a B.A. from University of North Florida in1990, and Masters in Education from University of North Florida in 1998.  She worked in private practice for 15 years and was also employed as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in Florida Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program from 1993 - 2000.  Cammie is currently employed with Henry Schein Dental, 2000-current, as a Field Sales Consultant.  She has held executive board positions with NEFDHA in the capacity of Secretary, Vice- President, President-Elect and President, 1996 - 2001, and was the Northeast District Trustee to FDHA in 2000-2001.

 

Angie Patel, CRDH, BS

Angie is currently the 2015-2016 vice president of the Northeast Florida Dental Hygiene Association and has been a member of ADHA since 1991 and a dental hygienist for 25 years.  She has served in leadership positions at the local, state and national levels.  In 2001-2002, Angie served as president of the Northeast Dental Hygiene Association.  Angie is currently adjunct clinical professor at Florida State College of Jacksonville and also works for Acteon North America as a Clinical Educator.  Angie owns her own business, Newimage Laser Hair Removal and Skincare.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys on the weekends and traveling with her family. 

 

Lori Brusoski, CRDH, BS, is an active member of ADHA and has been a registered dental hygienist for approximately thirty years.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is also certified to administer local anesthesia.  Lori has been teaching dental hygiene for ten years and is currently employed as a faculty member at Sanford Brown College in Jacksonville.  Previously, she has taught hygiene at Pensacola State College and Del Mar College in Texas.  She has experience in both periodontal and general practice dental offices.  Throughout her career, Lori has held several supportive positions in the local components of ADHA.  Lori moved back to Jacksonville two years ago and in her spare time she enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her husband who has retired after serving as a Naval Officer.

 

Darla Schultz CRDH, BS graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dental Hygiene Program in Southern California in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. After graduating, Lori worked in clinical dental hygiene for three years in Oklahoma in three different dental offices, two of which were located in remote farm communities.  Lori was the first dental hygienist in those offices. She then moved to Florida in 1987 and worked in private practice until she moved into the field of education as an adjunct instructor in 2013.  Lori is currently employed full-time at Sanford-Brown College, School of Dental Hygiene.  She is course lecturer for Prevention, Pain Management, Microbiology, Nutrition, Ethics, and Community and also teaches in the dental hygiene clinic.

Caroline Roberts, RDH - Caroline graduated with an Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene from Florida Community College of Jacksonville (now FSCJ), 2002.  She is currently employed in Pediatric Dentistry with Dr. Setzer, Cochran, and Soares in Jacksonville. Caroline has held executive board positions with NEFDHA as Vice President, President Elect and President 2004-05, and also served as the FDHA Delegate from 2002-2006.  She was the Northeast District Trustee to FDHA from 2007-2009.

 

Beth Rucker, RDH – Beth earned both an A.A. degree and A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene at Florida Community College (now known as FSCJ) in 1976, and has worked in private practice since that date.  She was first in a leadership role in NEFDHA as President in 2005-2007, and served an extended term of two years.  Beth has also worked in leadership roles at the state association level.  She was elected in positions such as FDHA Secretary and NEFDHA Trustee for the past ten years.  Beth is involved annually in FDHA’s Smile Day in Tallahassee, and coordinates dental hygiene volunteers in Special Olympics, Florida.  She was the local dental hygienist who first started email communication to our members.  Many dental hygienists still know her as “bethrdh@comcast.net”!

 

Tina Strayer, RDH, BASDH - Tina Strayer graduated from Florida Community college of Jacksonville in 1994 with an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2012 she graduated from St. Petersburg College with her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked in Private practice locally for 7 years doing clinical hygiene full time. She then moved into the profession of dental sales. Tina has been in dental sales for 15 years and currently works for Colgate-Palmolive as an Oral Care Consultant. She held executive board positions with NEFDHA in the capacity of President-Elect and President in 2001-2003.

 

Hannah Sanders, CRDH – Hannah graduated with honors from Florida State College of Jacksonville in 2013 with her degree in Dental Hygiene.  Prior to that she attended UNF for a year and a half, after earning an A.A. degree in 2009 from FCCJ.    Hannah is single and very active in her church, Grace Community Church.  She works in a Pediatric practice in Jacksonville, Safari of Smiles, for Dr. Ivis Alvarez.  Hannah volunteered to be Student Liaison this year to help us maintain a personal connection between our professional organization and the current students of FSCJ and Sanford Brown.  We are very proud to have Hannah participate in our executive board meetings and we wholeheartedly welcome her with open arms.
