NEFDHA hosts various continuing education courses along with our Annual Spring Seminar. It is our largest event of the year and is the key fund raiser for providing two FSCJ dental hygiene student scholarships.  The Swan Knowles scholarship is in honor of the first dental hygienist to be appointed to the Florida Board of Dentistry. The Gay King scholarship is in honor of a beloved FSCJ professor who taught and mentored many students.

Three additional dental hygiene scholarships are privately funded and awarded annually: the Fetner & Hartigan Scholarship, the Summers Memorial Scholarship and the Renee Kline Scholarship.
